Here’s what changed in Wealthra during October.
We ship improvements most days. Once a month we round up the ones you’ll notice, email them to everyone using Wealthra and publish them here. Each item shows which plans it applies to.
New this month
Manage budgets by flexible pay cycles All plans
Budgets can now run weekly or fortnightly as well as monthly and annually, so they line up with how often money comes in. In your settings: Create a custom budget cycle to suit your family and personal pay frequency. Parent budgets also roll up the budgets beneath them, so you can see the total for a group like “Household” as well as each line.
Rental property forecasts Investor, Planner
For investment properties, add tenancy details, rent and expected maintenance, and see the property’s expected income and costs in your forecasts. Rental features now appear only on properties marked as investments, and the investment property checkbox shows when you edit an existing asset.
Leases, residuals and ownership plans Investor, Planner
Schedule a lease’s residual payment and track it, along with plans for when you’ll own an asset outright. Savings goals can be scheduled the same way on Planner. Novated lease start dates are now optional.
Repayment budgets that set themselves up Budgeter, Investor, Planner
When Wealthra spots a regular loan or mortgage repayment in your history, it matches it to your saved schedule and offers to create the budget for you. Repayments you’ve categorised count against their budget straight away, without waiting for reconciliation. Budget suggestions also skip budgets you already have, and flag when your spending doesn’t match the pattern we expected.
Rules that record investment contributions Investor, Planner
A rule can now record a cash contribution to an investment account automatically, so regular top-ups are logged against the right asset. See how rules and expense coding work.
Connect your crypto exchanges Investor, Planner
Connect Coinbase, Swyftx, CoinSpot or BTC Markets with an API key, and your holdings sync into Wealthra automatically, valued in Australian dollars alongside the rest of your net worth.
